The U.S. embassy in France declined Friday to comment on an earlier media report that three employees in the embassy were poisoned the same day.
An earlier report by Reuters said the three employees of the embassy were being treated for poisoning on Friday after opening a mail.
Inquired by Xinhua, the U.S. embassy said it has given no confirmation on the issue to any media and would not offer comments for the moment.
Romain Nadal, the junior director for press contact of the French Foreign Ministry, told Xinhua that the ministry has no comments either because they had no acknowledge of the alleged poisoning yet.
