Microsoft Corp. plans to introduce the Kinect motion-sensing controller with a free game in November for 149.99 U.S. dollars, media reported Wednesday.
Microsoft also plans to include the product in a $299.99 package featuring the new, slimmer Xbox 360 console and the Kinect Adventures game, the company said in a statement.
Kinect was one of the more talked about products at E3: a camera accessory that allows consumers to interact with the machine using whole-body movements instead of a joystick or wand.
The company began a nationwide tour this month to offer consumers a preview of the product. Microsoft also is promoting it with demonstrations at select Macy’s Inc. department stores.
Kinect is scheduled to be released on Nov. 4 ahead of the holiday season.
